What to check before you buy

• Fuel type (gas canister, liquid fuel or solid fuel) and where you can buy refills.
• Heat output, the boil time the manufacturer states and what the manual says about cold and wind.
• Pot supports and base size for the pans you use, and the weight with fuel.
• The manufacturer’s ventilation and usage instructions, including where it must not be used.
